Dr. Sheila Mckoy is a native of North Carolina, married, to Deacon Curtis Mckoy. Together they have three daughters, three granddaughters and three grandsons. Dr. Mckoy is the founder of Word Church of Deliverance in Newton Grove, NC. She is a chosen vessel of God, woman of faith with purpose, plan and vision, faith in the word of God. If God said it, then I believe it and that settles it. Dr. Mckoy received her calling in the ministry in 1983, was licensed by the Church of God of Prophecy. In 1999, she was elevated in the office of Pastoring, where WCOD was able to build a new sanctuary debt free in 2010. In 2010, Dr. Mckoy founded Women on the Move, from age 12 and up, to mentor and empower ministry for young ladies and woman. To teach, train, and direct to be all that they can be for Christ, the sky is the limit. Dr.Mckoy passion is to motivate people to reach and realize their spiritual destiny. Dr. Mckoy volunteers as a chaplain, police and fire.
